The Tynor Knee Immobiliser Child (D44) is a paediatric knee brace designed to immobilise and support a child's injured or post-operated knee in a secure, functional position. Lightweight anatomical aluminium splints on the back and lateral sides hold the knee in a slightly bent (15°) functional position, while the open wrap-around design and broad over-the-patella strap make it easy for a parent or carer to fit and remove. Built from soft, breathable three-layered PU-foam fused fabric, it is designed to stay comfortable during extended wear. How to Use
- Apply the brace with the wider side facing upwards, aligned with the knee joint.
- Wrap it around the knee so the splints sit on the outer (lateral) and back (dorsal) sides.
- Position the patellar opening directly over the kneecap.
- Fasten the hook-and-loop straps using the reverse-buckle mechanism, working from the bottom upwards for a snug, secure fit.
- Fasten the knee strap over the kneecap.
